Our weekend starts early with a noon check-in on Friday. Swap stories and get to know your fellow riders as your bicycle is thoroughly checked and adjusted for the big day tomorrow. Around 2:00 pm  we’ll roll out on our warm-up tour of Solvang. This is a casual 15 to 20 miler. Of course we’ll be sure to stop and wet our whistle in Los Olivos with some wine tasting. At 7:00 pm, we’ll feast on a cyclist carbo-loading dinner enjoyed family style in the common room and then it’s off to bed. We’ve got a fantastic day ahead.

The 6:00 am alarm doesn’t seem so bad. You got a great nights sleep. You don’t have to drive to the start. You’re already registered. Your bike is tuned up. There is the smell of piping hot coffee and fresh baked pastries coming from the kitchen. Relax, and get into your “zone”. Let us handle the details. Don’t linger too long though. The Century starts at 7:00 am.

Congratulations! 100 miles never felt so good! Head on over to your condo for a long, relaxing soak in the hot tub. Feel like a massage? Our certified massage therapist will be available to smooth out those knots. (additional fee).

Dinner at 8:00 so don’t be late! Jim Sobell, (avid cyclist and owner of “The Vineyard House”), has prepared a special meal just for us. Don’t worry it’s on us!

Another great nights sleep and we’re up at 9:00 am Sunday for our wrap up brunch. Let’s bid farewell, share some memories and photos, and make some new friends.

  Luke.
